Lesita Body Butters did not start as a business idea. It started as a personal mission.

For years, I struggled with dry, cracking, tough skin — the kind that affects not only how you feel physically, but how confident you feel showing up in the world. On top of that, my daughter has eczema-prone skin, which meant I was constantly searching, testing, spending, and hoping for products that would actually work for our family. Most didn’t. The few that helped were often too costly to sustain.

I felt underrepresented in the skincare market. Products were either not doing the trick, or they came at a price that made consistency impossible. After years of frustration, I decided to do something different — I started experimenting on my own skin, with the mindset that I could never offer anyone something I wouldn’t confidently use on myself or my family.

Lesita began as a way to share what I had discovered with my immediate circle — family and friends. It was never about selling. It was about helping. Helping skin heal. Helping confidence return. Helping people feel comfortable in their own bodies again.

The name Lesita holds deep meaning for me. It belongs to my late grandfather, whom I never had the chance to meet. Yet, he continues to show up for me in dreams — guiding me, advising me, and giving me strength during some of the hardest moments of my life. Naming this brand after him is my way of honouring that presence, that protection, and that love.

When people use Lesita Body Butters, I want them to feel safe, loved, served, and confident — because those are the exact emotions poured into every jar.

Lesita started because I was tired of searching the market for what works. I made a promise to myself to keep improving, learning, and refining — first for myself, then for my family, and eventually for anyone who has ever felt unseen or unheard when it comes to skincare. This is my commitment to creating affordable, quality skincare, handcrafted with love.
